Chris cut off part of the studio structure to allow a sunny garden space, and turned the remaining area in a glass studio, which has been dubbed "the barn banana" because it is home to various tropical plants.
The roof lantern covers the barn banana and stretches all the way to the edge of the garden space. It is connected to the main house by a side extension return home to a kitchen, which leads into the remaining space of the kitchen in the main part of the house.

"The client and I were excited to be a nice feature for the wall, said Chris," so we built this Ben Nicholson porthole window inspired in design. "
The Japanese screen behind the shower hides the lighting of the room, and the whole is watertight. Although technically demanding, the result is impressive.
