Houzz Tour: A Docklands Penthouse Redesign Inspired by a music festival - The owners of this Docklands apartment Houzz turned to when they were looking for a designer to reinvigorate their home. "They had lived in the apartment for 10 years and loved it, but it was time for a change," recalls interiors expert Gurjeet Hunjan Boscolo Interior Design. "They needed more storage and, as they do a lot of entertainment, they wanted a more adaptable space for people to visit.

The original property was built in the late 190s, and the finishes were irrelevant. "We went back to the drawing board, said Gurjeet. Regional Planning Clever was the key to making the most of limited space, while injecting the owners of personality in the decorating scheme.

To create a more versatile living space, Gurjeet open a guest room that previously saved on the main living area, but it has incorporated a movable wall from floor to ceiling that allows the outgoing pair to close the space to create an additional room if necessary.

when it came to decorating scheme, Gurjeet draws its inspiration from the love of reading couple and their favorite music festival, The Secret Garden Party. "They are very cultured, but they also like the festivals, so we tracked down an official photographer of The Secret Garden Party and on the basis of the plan around one of his prints," says Gurjeet. "It is a wonderful talking point for customers, and we used color to create sophisticated, adult palette of the apartment.
