Houzz Tour: Mixing original charm and contemporary style in Seattle - The Fremont neighborhood of Seattle has a fair share of bungalows built around 1920, in spite of all the apartments and newly built homes. Open the door of a particular bungalow, and discover a fascinating mix of contemporary and traditional that represents the character of the area.

Sara Imhoff with Mention Architecture and Design and her husband Jeremy Imhoff renovated their bungalow 1918 to create a comfortable balance between the original and the new features construction. "Keep the original character of the house helped to give it a more casual, relaxed quality, Jeremy said.
