My Houzz: Calm, Cool and collected in a Canadian apartment - Taylor Russell saw many interiors. After having lived in hotels for six years - his work at an advertising agency has had its movement every four months in places like Kuwait, Pakistan, Spain and Barbados - she knew hundreds of different spaces of life. More than enough to realize that the style was good for her.
I am especially drawn to bright, airy spaces that were open and welcoming, with beautiful and interesting pieces - places where you could curl comfortably on the couch one night and host a cocktail next, "says Russell.
Worn out from his busy schedule, Russell quit his job from a pay phone at Heathrow Airport in 07 during a trip a project in Kuwait to Jamaica. She bought a return ticket home to Toronto and decided on the flight to buy a house. Four days later, she bought an apartment on a map in the King West area of Toronto.
