Houzz Tour: A Ecofriendly Home with ocean view in Sydney - high on a sandstone ridge to the east of the Pacific Ocean, this sustainable beach house stands proudly in through the scene. Wowed by the ocean views, the owners Josh and Rachel caught a piece of land on one of the northern beaches of Sydney, determined to design a sustainable building that responded to its dramatic topography and views.
Neil Mackenzie of Mackenzie Pronk Architects was only too happy to help: "The site is beautiful. Our clients had spent ten years in the UK when we started working with them. They were coming back to the blue sky and surf from home, so I think the idea of a real home of Australian beach was like a dream. "
