Simons also asked to seamlessly blend the old and the new. The rooms in the oldest part of the house have been updated and includes three bedrooms, a suite for parents and a separate family bathroom for children and guests, as well as an en sunny stay and a study. These rooms are all serviced by a central corridor that leads to the back of the house and on it a spacious new extension which houses the large living spaces. For homeowners, the results could not be better. The assets of the house were left untouched while the family acquired a contemporary extension of generous proportions.
