The owners of this chic Manhattan townhouse wanted a comfortable home to raise their three boys - and also a gracious setting for entertaining . A glass wall on the entire rear face willing to abundance natural light. "We wanted to come out and expand the house," said Mellett.

Mellett designed a custom corner sofa specially for this space. Upholstered in a green soft foam, it warms the room and compensates for the purple and gold accents.

the master bedroom was designed as a getaway for busy parents. "We wanted to create an urban spa in the master stage, said Mellett. "A place where parents can withdraw." Walls and accessories upholstered in a range of textures all combine in a soothing and neutral space.

Mellett had the en-suite bathroom walls and doubled floors in a smooth white marble and designed its modern and elegant custom sink unit.

"for children, we wanted something fun for each of their personalities, said Mellett. He spoke to each of the children of customers and asked them what they liked. This child loves water, so used Mellett whales and fish on the custom wallpaper.
