Houzz Tour: A Parisian apartment that combines modern style with period details - Designers and architects Daniel and Michel Bismut restored with enthusiasm this beautiful sq Apartment 250 m from the family. the HTO2 table, the Bismut collection, is in the heart of the dining room. It is a chunky table consisting of a wooden tray with a sanded and blackened wenge base. To go with the table, the designers chose chairs by Charles Eames for Vitra and a fitting light coconut fiber Ochre, which adds interest to the space.

Like old apartments often, it includes many transition areas. The architects needed to create a function for the corridor. "We decided to treat this transition space in a whole separate room, transforming the hall into a small room nice TV, they say. The coffee table puzzle of Bismut collection, a pony leather chair by Charles Eames and linen Ruckstuhl carpets decorate the room.

The old kitchen became another transitional space in which Daniel and Michel Bismut set up an office in a closet with a small chair Cherner. "Just close the wooden doors that disappear, so that what is hidden behind them can be seen or guessed." The lighting adds interest.

The master bedroom is largely white and oak. "We wanted a really chunky wooden block at the foot of the bed, and we had this custom oak bench," explain the architects.

In this room for a little boy, different spaces are distinguished by the use of two floor levels. In addition, a transparent glass wall isolates a small area of the sink.
