"Before, you went directly into the room, which made the apartment feel more cold," recalls Homan. "I find that inner door on eBay, which has remarkably my shield of the Robertson family, and I am my builder to make a frame for it to create the vestibule.

In small areas where it does not spend much time, Homan like to be bold with its decor, which is why she chose this dramatic wallpaper for the hallway.

"People use mirrors much in a commercial environment," she said, so I added the panels on top and hung pictures on it at eye level so you really do not see in it, you will notice just that the room feels bigger.

Previously, the entire side wall of the living room was bare stone. "This made the wall come in you, Homan said," so I built a false wall in front of him in which I put a fire bioethanol. The stone is also lit to highlight the contrast between the rough surface and the reflective silk wallpaper.

As the dining room is dark and compact with a low ceiling, Homan decided to adopt this. "I chose to make this room even darker and give it a pleasant and opulent atmosphere. I even painted the ceiling black and shiny, so it reflects everything and seems actually higher, the more it makes them really atmospheric dinners, "she said.

Homan let his love of Japan influence the decor here. She painted screen doors Japanese style, which hide the study, black as the ceiling, and opted for a style flower wallpaper.

the new enlarged kitchen works in the lounge, so Homan used the same wallpaper in both areas to help them flow naturally into each other. She also designed benches to enable it to comfortably fit six people around the table.

No structural work has been done to the rooms, but Homan adds a ledge to the master bedroom to make it feel more feminine. She then hung metallic paper. "I even lined the ceiling to add another texture and stimulate the feeling of opulence," she reveals. Finally, it installed a large padded bed, still dressed, to finish the glamor scene.

The second room was small and dark, so that, as in the dining room, Homan decided to embrace these attributes and make it darker and more opulent. Faux painted eel skin paper has been softened with feminine fabrics to give this room a boutique hotel atmosphere.
