Before the start of metamorphosis, clients hired a local arborist to assess the state of the surrounding trees. He identified 15 trees to be cut, a mixture of non-native and native issues. what looked like an intact house turned out to be missing key structural elements. There was a flutter, beam unsupported in the living room, and the whole house was based on a post-yourself wooden base and block (not the best idea for a home on a slope in the second city wettest in California).
