Houzz Tour: A Cosy bolthole Coastal Filled With pattern and personality - When Greg and Valerie Wilson realized their dream of buying a house by the sea for the weekends with their children, they wanted it to be an extension of their lives effortlessly on weekdays. "The family wanted to walk in the house on a Friday night and drag directly in a simple relaxing weekend, said interior designer Charlotte Ford, recalling his memory for Suffolk house.

Individual ownership of the 1930s had a tired interior with a maze of small rooms. An architect took care of setting pokey page opening on the ground floor to create a space for relaxed living, with kitchen, dining room, an office and living all separate areas, but flowing in the other. Then Charlotte was responsible for transforming the house into a comfortable family space could use as a weekend for themselves and friends. She chose a relaxed mix of furniture and colors and patterns added with wallpaper, cushions and lighting.

Greg and Valerie have a penchant for the retro colors and heavy furniture, so it was important to incorporate them into the design while creating a living space that is not too precious " said Charlotte.

The result is a colorful comfortable home from home designed to relax and have fun.
