The result is a space evocative and unique life, full of personality. Tom obviously has a flair for interior design. His mind is always relied on and, despite having only spent a year in this home lovingly formed it is already provided for a review of the design. Chalet by name, cottage by nature ... the first thing that strikes you as you enter the apartment is the wood paneling in the living room, giving the space a feeling of comfort of the cabin-like. "When I arrived, I noticed the walls were uneven, 'Tom recalls," so I thought of wood panels scaffolding would flatten while adding a nice texture. These tips were very affordable - around £ 20 - and although they were covered with paint and gunk when I, it only took a quick once over with a belt sander on the balcony and they were ready to be fixed to the wall using a metal rail.

Tom transformed a flat plain white box in a vibrant treasure and carefully assembled treasure of memories. The pictures on the main wall, for example, are a curios group of past adventures and special moments - a painting of his dog, the illustration of a friend and some memories of his days in Berlin. Another good example is the small table on the balcony, where he has kept since childhood. "I guess I'm a bit of a hoarder," he admits, but I like to look around all these memories.

Splurge some frivolous items are discarded, as Cup giant plant, which cost around £ 0, and everywhere you look there is plenty to catch the eye. in fact, whenever friends come in flat, they seem to notice Tom always something new, even if it is the same and there is nothing to changed. table kitchen was purchased six months before Tom moved. It has become "an element that has helped shape the rest of the apartment. Views on the choice of leather or color of vintage luggage used as makeshift coffee table, and see what he means. Shake overhead is a black pendant light silicone shell, which coordinates perfectly with the rest of the kitchen, quite in contrast to the form of white Le Klint pendant in more organic living. This casts a soft glow, more diffuse, ideal for creating a bit of post-dinner atmosphere.

everything is so well reflected in this apartment, each TouchPoint an opportunity for fun and surprise. I doubt the visitors need a sign to tell them where the door is, unless they have outstayed their welcome in this homeliest houses. Nevertheless, it is a nice exclamation point on the whole experience.
