Houzz Tour: A House With Views Lake Contemporary Canadian Blissful - This couple semi-retired was ready to leave the city and closer to their northern roots Ontario. While in Toronto, they found a single piece of property on Lake Muskoka Tasso in the district that looked more at home. Although the property has a lot of Crown land around it (which can never be developed) and the massive Algonquin Park nearby, they are often surrounded by many people, their home became the place gathering for family and friends, and the house party in the region.
architecture built with a simple, no frills reminiscent of the Prairie style, the house is a bit of an anomaly among the rustic houses in the region. Interior designer Chris Lischkoff kept the exterior architecture and the lake and surrounding woods, in mind as it equipped the interior with the help of frequent collaborator Hettel Nana. The result is a neat, casual and comfortable, which is designed to handle parts 100, but is comfortable enough for the couple when they are themselves.

Although the house has a clean and somewhat formal look, its design can take a beating. "We chose durable materials that can withstand the constant parade of muddy boots, dogs, kids and party guests who come here, said Lischkoff. For example, these soils are flamed granite.
This room is an occasional secondary corridor. A combination of lockers, shelves and hooks offers a lot of storage for shoes, bags, boots and muddy lake sylvan things.
