Houzz Tour: A rustic efficient cabin in the Rocky Mountains - It seems that Teddy Roosevelt stayed here from the outside, but this tip, the LEED Platinum house is new. Highline Partners, Montana home builders who specialize in sustainable construction, created a rustic cabin that looks as if it could have been the house of a trapper ago 100 years while meeting the customers' wishes for a sustainable home. The team mixed the best parts of vernacular architecture with features environmentally friendly, including a pond that serves geothermal mass for heating.

'The house was built with nature, sustainability and the environment in mind, while trying to seem like a very old historical farm, "explains the director of Ty Frackiewicz project. Erika Jennings Carole Sisson Designs did the interior design.
