My Houzz: A Country With a sophisticated, Serene Feel - There are some years, with three young children in tow, and Maura David Lam-Sheridan took the decision to move the lights of London the picturesque county of Kildare in Ireland. They were determined to find a property close to Irish parents Maura and a place with a large garden for children.
When they saw this storey, detached cottage, they knew they had found their future home. Surrounded by large mature oaks and an acre of land, the house had all the space they were looking for, but as the children grew, so did the will of the couple to update and improve their home.
So the plans were hatched to modernize the space and increase its volume, adding a contemporary extension of two floors on the side. Now the couple has developed what was a family home centered in a beautiful house with Asian touches, to reflect Hong Kong's heritage David, nestled in the lush Irish landscape.
